HorseshowI didn't expect to place in any of the equitation classes, but we actually did pretty well considering a few weeks before me and strider had a lot of troubles with our western jog. It was pretty consistant..we didn't do bad or extremely well in equitation, and ended up getting third or fourth in each class.
Then we has pole bending which was *shrugs* but the barrel racing was epic! We galloped so fast, and ended up getting second place. Pinto was a dumbass and missed the pocket in the second barrel, and I was told that we would have gotten first with seconds to spare if I had been thinking about the pocket more carefully. All in all it was a really good day and I learned alot. ^_^

Schooling shows ARE always fun! Especially when you go for the 2' and end up at 2'3".

If you were to retake that equitation class now, things would be even better. Not that you weren't good then, but you and Strider have come -such- a long way.
I think so too. I can't wait for next years show. It's funny but in these past few weeks I feel like I really get him a whole lot more now. It's amazing to think of where we will be at in even a years time.
